Position responsibilities include:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for handling routine service requests from residents involving minor plumbing, electrical and general repairs, maintaining the curb appeal of the community by routinely picking up trash and debris, and assisting with the make-ready process of vacant apartments.

This position does require after hours on-call duties.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in outside weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to cold, wet and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
